Submit and wait. But, don't stop!
Be sure to submit your site to as many search engines as you can. Then wait, but don't stop! It takes time for the search engines to evaluate and decide what you are all about. Upon first spidering, the search engine takes a snapshot of your home page. As time goes on they follow your links. They may follow 1 link during this spidering, then, 3 links during the next spidering, then, another 10 links the next spidering, and so on. During this time, get creative. Put up signs along a rural highway, submit ads for the STW business opportunity to your local free classifieds newspapers. Find and submit your ad to free online classifieds sites, as well. Maybe even create a decal for your business and advertise your store on your car. Make sure your car is a good representation of your business. Keep it clean and maintained. It may even be a business write-off! We, as store owners, also need to give the public time to find and free comfortable with our site. I believe the public needs to get to the point where they recognize and trust your site. They need to feel comfortable with the fact it is there and will continue to be there. When I shop the Internet I look for the answers to these two questions: 1.) Is this a credible business? Does the site look hokey? Does it look grainy or homemade? Does the name of the business and it's url sound credible? Are there indications that this site is not serious... misspelled words, inconsistence context, broken links, etc. 2.) Does the site list a contact phone number? If I have a problem I want to know that I will be able to reach someone by phone. I may or may not call the number, but I want to know it is there if I need it. If it's not there, I don't buy from that site. A real business will have a contact number listed. Remember, If you wouldn't put your credit card information into the site, most likely neither would anyone else.
Donald Trump
Build your business these next months. Remember, Donald Trump didn't invent a new idea, he became the best at what he did. The next 2 years will most likely make or break your business. You will either succeed through focus, drive and hard work, or you will quit your business from discouragement and the desire to move on.
Think big!
As you are building your business, consider building your personal store and your chain at the same time. For your personal store, consider link building, studying optimization, and building a unique pages (which is what the search engines look for). For your chain of stores, consider advertising (maybe free classifieds newspapers, Internet, radio co-op), building unique web pages (which explain the business opportunity), and becoming efficient at explaining the business (which takes training, and I'm willing to help you!).
My offer to help you personally...
